Visual Century is one of the most innovative computer vision companies with solutions in Augmented reality and Image Search Engines. Visual Century is a technology company created in 2001 by a group of entrepreneurs with audiovisual and multimedia research backgrounds. We have developed a wide range of advanced software products including those to manage rich media applications for the media industry and others that recognize people, genders and all features related to the consumer knowledge tools. Our roots are the University of Barcelona (UAB). In our R&D department there is a group of world leading researchers from the fields of Computer Vision and Cognitive Vision. More than 60% of the company's research and development staff are PhD's (Columbia University, USA), known internationally for their expertise through their publications in the field of cognitive vision.
