History
The company «Vita» M.D. Tsalopoulos was founded in 1978 in Thessaloniki as exclusive agents – distributors of fine food products in the area of Northern Greece.
The successful activities of the company led to the establishment of the Athens branch in 1989. Since then, the «Vita» team grew the business to become one of the leading import & distribution companies operating across the Hellenic territory.
The 2004 Olympic Games appeared as an opportunity for «Vita», which in 2002 expanded furthermore its activities by distributing products for the Food Service sector.
In 2008, the head offices of Thessaloniki moved to the new modern facilities that are located in the industrial area of Sindos in Thessaloniki.
Services
Our company offers a complete system of commercial services which includes:
- Sales
An experienced and dedicated sales force visits directly key accounts, buying groups, wholesalers, hotels, ship suppliers, special agents, and traditional stores.
- Marketing
With deep knowledge of the market and in close collaboration with our suppliers, we create and implement tailor-made marketing strategies in order to establish the products in the Hellenic market.
- Trade Marketing
Our company creates and implements effective B2B marketing (tailor-made, multi-brand etc.) aiming at the establishment of the products in all distribution channels.
- Merchandizing
We monitor closely all the points of sales (product placement control, implementation of annual agreements, price check, stock control, FIFO, promotion implementation etc), as suggested by the selected strategy, in order to increase our sales and enhance the identity of our products.
- Logistics
The constant challenge of our company has been to devise an upgraded distribution network and an efficient SCM in order to reduce links in the supply chain, minimize delivery time and offer the best and immediate service.
