How things have changed!
I visitedKingston Universitythis week, where my old temporary office made way for an award-winning new Town House building (it won the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Stirling Prize, confirming it as Britain's best new building in 2021)!
Instead of the pharmacy practice lab, I got to visit the state-of-the-art immersive pharmacy skills simulation suites. These consist of a mock hospital ward, pharmacy dispensing suite and GP surgery, all equipped with the latest technology including patient simulator mannequins.
I caught up with old colleagues and met new members of staff at the School of Life Sciences, Chemistry and Pharmacy. We had exciting conversations about opportunities for collaboration withVital Care Links. I look forward to sharing more details in the coming months!
