Vivostat® develop, manufacture and market the Vivostat® system, which is sold through direct sales channels and distributors throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
The uniqueness of the Vivostat® system is a novel patented biotechnological process that enables reliable and reproducible preparation of autologous Fibrin Sealant or Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF®) to prevent/stop bleeding or stimulate the healing of chronic wounds. With the Vivostat® system It is also possible to co-deliver a desired antibiotic with Vivostat® Fibrin Sealant or Vivostat PRF®.
The fully automated Vivostat® system consists of three components:
1. The Processor Unit
The Processor Unit is used to process the patient’s blood and prepare the Vivostat® Fibrin Sealant or Vivostat PRF® solution.
2. The Applicator Unit
The Applicator Unit controls the delivery of the Vivostat® solution to the site of treatment.
3. The Disposable Set
The single-use set contains all components needed for preparation and application of Vivostat® Fibrin Sealant or Vivostat PRF®. It is available with a range of application devices each optimised for different types of applications.
The Vivostat® system can be used in many clinical applications including but not limited to; cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic and neurosurgery as well as in wound healing treatment.
