GreeningUp Africa is a youth-led grassroot non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting climate action and environmental sustainability across Africa, one city to another. A youth-led climate action organisation committed to raising climate action champions and changemakers across the African continent, beginning from Nigeria. GreeningUp Africa was founded with a mission to empower underserved communities and individuals to mitigate the risks posed by climate change. Our organization has since evolved into a leading force in climate action, working tirelessly to foster a greener, more resilient Africa. Our strategic vision is to foster climate resilience and empower underserved communities to embrace climate action for a greener Africa. Recognizing the urgent need to address climate change impacts, GreeningUp Africa works to enhance communities' resilience to climate change. We empower young individuals by providing them with the necessary tools to lead in their communities. Our projects focus on equipping youths to take charge of initiatives that promote climate action.
