Vórtice Cultural is an independent artistic initiative with full curatorial autonomy, dedicated to the training, professional development, and internationalization of artists, as well as the dissemination of sexuality in art.
Founded and led by the artists Leonardo Maciel and Paulo Cibella, Vórtice works toward the legitimization of art and the strengthening of the cultural ecosystem through multiple fronts. Comunidade Vórtice brings together over 100 artists in a dynamic space for daily exchange and collaboration. Biblioteca Vórtice preserves and makes available a collection of more than 400 rare books on erotic art. Vórtice Lab, the educational branch of the initiative, has trained over 400 students in artistic screen printing. Vórtice Viagens offers immersive experiences that connect art lovers with the most vibrant cultural scenes around the world. Festival Vórtice, focused on contemporary art, celebrates eroticism, diversity and love, expanding the visibility and inclusion of marginalized artists alongside established names — consolidating itself as a space for resistance and uncensored expression. Galeria Vórtice crowns this multifaceted initiative as the first online marketplace in Brazil dedicated exclusively to erotic art, expanding the reach of this production and connecting artists to new audiences.
