VSBfonds is een particulier vermogensfonds dat (studie)beurzen beschikbaar stelt. De Beurs MBO is voor mbo-studenten die nog bezig zijn met hun studie, of onlangs hun diploma hebben behaald (niveau 1, 2, 3 of 4). Je wil naar het buitenland om je verder te ontwikkelen. Jouw buitenlandplan is geen verplicht onderdeel van je studie. Je kan uitleggen waarom jouw buitenlandplan niet alleen voor jou persoonlijk belangrijk is, maar ook wat jouw omgeving (de maatschappij) er aan heeft (maatschappelijke relevantie). Je gaat voor minimaal twee weken en het beursbedrag bedraagt maximaal € 4.000.
De beurs is helaas nog niet beschikbaar voor alle mbo-studenten. Alleen de mbo-studenten van een beperkt aantal mbo-instellingen komen nu nog in aanmerking.
