Wales Capital Partners is a family investment company investing in small yet growing companies across North America.
Founded in 2008, Wales Capital Partners ("WCP") started as a passion project for two brothers and their dad before evolving into a fully fledged private investment company investing the capital of the Blankenship family.
WCP looks to invest in small yet growing private companies in North America, regardless of industry. We focus on the people before we focus on the industry or underlying business. We want to invest in, and work with, good people leading good firms.
We prefer to be control investors but are willing to take passive, minority positions in the right company. WCP will even come in to run the firm if the owner would like to retire or transition out of the business.
We named Wales Capital Partners in honor of our late grandfather, Dr. Phillip A Wales. A prominent small town Texas doctor, bank executive and decorated World War II veteran, Dr. Wales strove to serve all his patients with dignity and respect, regardless of their ability to pay. He always reminded his grandchildren to "do what's right, even when no one's lookin'."
