Finance Professional Development Program (FPD)

Welcome to the Finance Professional Development Program (FPD) at the Warrington College of Business, where we're dedicated to shaping future finance leaders. Our program is split into 12 specialized tracks in diverse areas of the industry such as Asset Management, Investment Banking, FinTech, Consulting and more. Participation in an FPD track opens doors to experiential learning through weekly track meetings, workshops, technical training sessions, guest speakers, networking events, case competitions, conferences, site visits, and alumni involvement. Here's how FPD benefits various stakeholders: Students: Join a track to enhance your technical skills, meet like-minded peers, engage with industry professionals, travel for competitions and conferences, and expand your professional network. Alumni & Friends: Elevate our students by advising tracks, mentoring students, participating in workshops and panels, assisting with internships and externships, attending/hosting alumni receptions, supporting site visits or corporate projects, and providing financial support. Employers: Empower precision recruitment through year-round engagement opportunities, including networking sessions, workshops, campus receptions, career searches, sponsored visits, and the culminating "Dream Chasing!" period where students embark on their professional journeys. Faculty & Staff: Partner with alumni, friends, and employers to create transformational experiences beyond the classroom. Advise tracks, mentor students, participate in workshops and panel discussions, bring or become a speaker, and promote our program values of growth mindset, camaraderie, grit, leadership, preparedness, and humility.
