Formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1975, the Washington State Paralegal Association ("WSPA"), was created to provide our members with support, education and an opportunity to advance and expand the paralegal profession.
WSPA membership is comprised of individuals from varying backgrounds, many of whom are employed by law firms, public or private corporations, insurance companies, non-profit organizations, governmental agencies, as educators, or even as students seeking their first paralegal position.
WSPA sponsors a variety of continuing legal education seminars, brown bag lunches, a yearly Paralegal Student Career Night and an Annual Members' meeting. You are encouraged to become an active, involved member of WSPA and urged to become familiar with the important issues surrounding the paralegal profession today.
