Established in 1979 Wastell & Porter Architects Ltd is a design led, award winning architectural practice. James Porter joined in 1988 and took over from William Wastell, the founder, in 1999. Mark Scott, from Australia, joined the Practice in 2002. They make a great team and complement each other with their varied skill base.
Centrally located in the market town of Hitchin in Hertfordshire, Wastell & Porter works in the surrounding towns and villages of Hertfordshire, as well as the Home Counties and North London.
From the initial creative ideas, our aim is to steer a path through the intrinsic difficulties of the planning and construction process and provide inspiration to every project. We have years of practical and technical construction knowledge to ensure that an excellent finish is achieved.
