Wellness Grove Therapy provides individual and group psychotherapy, from Registered Psychotherapist and professional art therapist, Taylor Bourassa.
I opened Wellness Grove Therapy to address a need for eco-conscious approaches to therapy, and to create a space for people to address their psychological, emotional and mental well being in a holistic, creative way. Art and nature based therapies are inherently creative, body-based interventions which provide the individual with alternative ways of looking at, thinking about, and addressing their needs and concerns.
The process of art therapy is not limited to typical art materials, and at Wellness Grove Therapy I introduce individuals to atypical materials, including natural materials, found objects, textiles and mixed media. The beautiful thing about art therapy is that anything and everything can be art, and you do not need to be "good at art" to participate.
Wellness Grove Therapy also provides mindfulness arts based workshops to schools and businesses.
