The West Africa Youth Fellowship is a non-profit organization for young people aimed at providing an organized program and policy for developing, equipping, and building the next generation of young emerging West African leaders.
The fellowship is purposed toward proffering solutions to the distinctive challenges confronting West Africa’s political and socio-economic growth by focusing on sustainable development, leadership & governance, entrepreneurship & innovation, security, science, and technology. This is with the belief system that Africa’s problems can only be solved and uniquely addressed by young Africans.
The West Africa Youth Fellowship (WAYF) is inspired by the common principles of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to transform the West African economy and States Governance to a People centric Sub-African continent leading a holistic philosophy that resonates Democracy, rule of law, good governance and economic cooperation. The West Africa Youth Fellowship believes this can only be achieved through a sustainable drive for Youth leadership training across all West African States.
