Our mission is simple. We showcase the objects one holds each day. It might be a pastry from the newest bakery in town or something as seemingly mundane as a toothbrush. The point is to make a connection with these items, to truly take note of what makes up our daily lives and all that can be done and found in our native New York (and around the country).
We believe that what we hold tells a story. Through our guest posting series, we tell stories that go beyond our own, highlighting tastemakers, innovators, and people doing fabulous work. There is so much talent in the world, and we want to highlight as much of it as we can.
Our generation grew up with cell phones and computers coming into our homes while we were part-way through elementary school. As the world continues to become digital and virtual, there is a longing (and we believe a need) to reconnect in a physical way.
