At Living Souls, we believe some of the most remarkable whiskies are those that wander off the beaten track. Our aim is to uncover these hidden gems, add our own touch, and bring their stories to life through a world of small batch spirit masterpieces.
Our recent bottlings include:
Ninety-Nine & One (46.3%) – A vibrant NAS Scotch that came from a happy accident where a heavily peated island malt with a splash of grain, bottled just as it is with the majority of the blend spending 16 years in bourbon and a further 2 years in a combination of Oloroso and PX sherry.
10-Year-Old Balblair (46.0%) – Finished in Limousin oak XO octaves, with soft spice and creamy vanilla over a classic Highland style.
15-Year-Old Blended Scotch (46.0%) – An evolving blend built through a solera system, our whisky library that’s always growing.
18-Year-Old Ledaig (41.0%) – 70% sherry-matured Ledaig and 30% bourbon-matured Tobermory resulting in a light, coastal, and smoky whisky.
19-Year-Old Islay Blended Malt (42.0%) – From a well-known distillery, matured in both sherry and bourbon with lots of classic, rich Islay character.
40-Year-Old Blended Scotch (45.1%) – An exceptionally rare blend of 40% malt (including Glenfarclas, Fettercairn and Glen Garioch) and 60% grain, mostly from the closed Cambus distillery, all drawn from ex-Islay sherry butts.
