White City Theatre Project CIO (WCTP) is an established charity in West London that believe in the therapeutic and healing power of the arts and their ability to bring young people together with a common purpose.
WCTP delivers high-quality drama-based services to the local community. These are:
Schools / Community Outreach Projects – delivery of drama and drama therapy projects to local schools and the community.
WCTP is currently delivering WCTP ReAct Connectivity Arts Festival in partnership with Lyric Theatre Hammersmith.
White City Youth Theatre (WCYT) - a community Youth Theatre, based at the Bush Theatre.
WCYT provides a safe space for young people to keep off the streets, engage in positive creative activities, bringing young people together from diverse backgrounds & different schools. It delivers high quality regular weekly drama activities and workshops on Monday evenings, plus holiday performance projects, performance opportunities and theatre trips throughout the year for young people aged between 9-24yrs. Participants gain experience developing and performing original drama, with opportunities to perform on professional stages, working with professional actors, writers, directors and filmmakers.
