We are Whitley Bay Big Local, the community-led charity that owns and runs the Whitley Bay Hub.
Our vision? To make Whitley Bay an even better place to live. A place where people feel more connected to each other and to their town.
We’re all about bringing people together and helping you to develop the skills and confidence to take positive action.
That's why we take the time to listen and find out what matters most to you. So far this has included projects to help combat loneliness, support people who are trying to make ends meet, and taking small but meaningful steps together to address global climate change.
Come and see us at The Hub where you can have a coffee, get some information or advice, join an activity group, volunteer, and much much more.
The Hub has been recently refurbished with two things in mind - to create welcoming community spaces and to be as eco-friendly as possible.
Working together, we will all make Whitley Bay a better place to live, work and visit.
