Who Did You Help Today is a registered New Zealand charity that runs projects to bridge the gap between those who need assistance, and those keen to volunteer their time to contribute.
HelpTank is a home-grown digital platform that connects skilled volunteers with not-for-profit organisations needing their expertise. Over 1800 volunteers have registered with the site, with skills ranging from design to web development to accounting. Mothers Project operates in all three women's prisons in New Zealand, involving more than 80 female volunteer lawyers visiting incarcerated mothers to facilitate relationships with their tamariki. The volunteers help mothers to understand where their children are, who is caring for them and what the mothers need to do in order to preserve their legal rights.
