Wicard is a mobile application to create and share personalized travel guides. (wicard.ch) We offer a peer-to-peer platform where users can follow the travel guides of their friends or certified experts. It’s like Spotify, but for places. They can take pictures of their travel findings, save the best places they discovered and create their own travel guides that they can sell to anyone in the world easily. Today, solutions like TripAdvisor, Yelp or Foursquare become less and less reliable. Travelers waste much more time reading contradictory comments and fake reviews, manipulated by people they don't know, than finding true personal experiences. Quantity doesn't matter anymore, we need quality. Based on business models like Uber or AirBnB, we democratize the travel book industry by letting anyone to earn money with their travel insights. Our mission is to allow anyone to be a world-renowned traveler.
