At Wild Heart Kenya, we believe that women have a vital role to play in addressing the environmental and climate challenges facing our planet. We are committed to promoting gender equality and empowering women and girls to become leaders in the fight against climate change in line with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals of Climate Action, Gender Equality and Partnerships for The Goals
Our focus areas include nature restoration, climate mitigation, and climate education. We work to restore degraded ecosystems, empowering girls and women affected by climate change and eradicating period poverty.
In addition, we are committed to empowering girls affected by climate change by providing them with spaces and working hands on regeneration projects to catalyse climate action. We believe that girls have a unique perspective on the environment and can play a critical role in shaping a more sustainable future.
Through our advocacy and education initiatives, we aim to raise awareness about the impact of climate change on communities in rural and marginalised communities and to inspire action at all levels of society.
