Mr. John "Russell" Wilson established Wilson Welding Service, Inc. in 1954. We consider ourselves to be a community service company, whose reputation precedes us.
We offer general welding, heliarc and aluminum services for residential, handrail, pipe, and structural projects. In addition, we offer complete portable services and can come to your location. Our certified welders are ASME qualified in steel, stainless steel and aluminum with testing performed by Law Engineering. We are the only company to have a 6Gr qualified aluminum welder in the state of Georgia and have been contracted throughout the United States for weld repairs and fabrication projects.
Our 20,000 square foot facility, located in Decatur, Georgia, has 11 bays equipped with operational services that include all types of welding, steel, steel fabrication, metal forming and equipment repairs. Since our opening, we have expanded our facility to include precision machining with a lathe capacity of 22" x 96".
