The Women in Mining University of Alberta Student Chapter (WIM UofA) is a student-led organization committed to building community, fostering career development, and increasing awareness around the critical contributions of women in the mining industry.
As a recognized chapter of Women in Mining Canada and a registered University of Alberta student group, WIM UofA provides resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to all students—regardless of gender—who are passionate about the mining sector. Our initiatives include speaker events, industry nights, student socials, and outreach that supports both personal and professional growth.
