West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University is one of the country’s multidisciplinary universities. In 2008, in order to optimize the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Uralsk, the West Kazakhstan Engineering and Humanities University was established on the basis of three private universities (West Kazakhstan Engineering and Technology University, West Kazakhstan Humanitarian Academy and Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems). In 2012, the Eurasia Institute joined it. In 2015, two private universities, the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University and the Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Telecommunication Systems, were formed on the basis of the West Kazakhstan Engineering and Humanitarian University.
