Woodlands Speaks is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation that has been established to deliver the Big Local Programme in the village of Woodlands which lies 5 miles to the north of Doncaster. The Big Local Programme is a significant investment of £1m over a period of 10 years for community projects designed to improve the lives of residents. The charity currently manage Woodlands Library and is working hard to develop this as a Hub for community activity. In addition it is delivering employment and training advice, environmental improvements along with major initiatives to manage and improve the Country Park and to build a skatepark.
