A soprano sax player smoother than Kenny G in a Teletubbies costume at a children’s birthday party, Aaron Mercer grew up enamored, not by the indie and grunge scene of his native North Carolina, but instead by the silky stylings of Boyz II Men, Jodeci and Kirk Franklin.
Despite being born and raised in the Garden State, Rob Kaplan has no affinity for Bon Jovi, Skid Row or big hair of any kind, but you can happily unleash him in any indoor shopping mall, particularly one with a Fudruckers. Rob does have penchant for thrash metal, particularly the bands his parents wouldn’t allow him to see growing up.
None of this is in any shape relevant because Rob and Aaron leave their personal preferences at the door and listen to their clients’ musical needs exclusively.
