Word Alive began in 1987 by distributing books from the basement of a home in Niverville, Manitoba, Canada. The past 30+ years have been a journey of learning, growing, and changing to support of customers. It was - and continues to be, difficult to find inspirational resources, and Word Alive was created to be part of the solution. Today, we serve some of the fastest growing segments of the Christian Market. Our mandate in the coming years is to honor our customers, our suppliers, and our coworkers by providing the highest quality service and products that they need.
In 2016, Word Alive merged with Anchor Distributors, part of the family of companies under Whitaker Corporation, to enhance the way Christian products are distributed throughout North America. This merger is providing long-term stability in the supply chain for Canadian retailers, online sellers, and churches.
