Description
Cultural awareness through dance is the heart of World Dance Fusion’s mission. Since 2001, the company has featured talented dancers from the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, forming a truly diverse, inclusive community of performers. Artistic Director Katy Alaniz Rous’ extensive travels abroad and throughout the United States have given her a unique perspective on the diversity and connection of people across cultures. World Dance Fusion events are designed to engage every member of the community whether young or old, dancer or non-dancer. World Dance Fusion performers encourage people from all backgrounds and heritages to experience the intrinsic and entertainment value of various cultural dance styles.
