Provincial Sanitary and Epidemiological Station in Warsaw, together with 38 district stations and one border station cares about public health safety for over 5 million inhabitants of the Mazovia Voivodeship. We monitor over 40,000 facilities producing and introducing food to the market. We provide sanitary supervision over 4,500 inpatient and open health centers as well as doctors 'and dentists' offices. The occupational hygiene department controls over 14,000 businesses employing approximately 500,000 employees. We participate in all major health education programs for children, adolescents and adults. Adapting to EU standards, we modernized laboratories and equipped them with modern apparatus, while introducing the latest research methods.
