Yamalgazinvest JSC was established by the Board of Directors of PJSC Gazprom in 1997, which acted as the company's founder, with the tasks of ensuring the implementation of major investment projects related to the creation of new and reconstruction of existing gas transmission systems in the Russian Federation.
Over the years, Yamalgazinvest has built and commissioned more than 8,000 km of linear gas pipelines, more than 50 compressor station capacity facilities, more than 3,500 km of technological communications, as well as numerous auxiliary facilities.
Until 2017, the Company provided implementation of a number of investment projects, including the construction of the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta and Ukhta-Torzhok main gas pipeline systems designed to transport natural gas from the Yamal Peninsula to the unified gas supply system of Russia.
