True to our name, we are a creative and production hub for established and aspiring designers who wants to add a dash of quirky and splash of fun along the way. OUR FOUND & DREAMER | Founder Karen Yang began her design career soon after graduation, being placed in 8 graduate fashion programs. Having newly graduated from Fashion and Textiles at Sydney’s University of Technology; Karen’s collection have walked the runway as part of Sportsgirl’s National Graduate Showcase at LMFFl and in iD Emerging Designer’s showcase . As well as receiving national and international accolades including the Australian Wool Award for Craftsmanship and Innovation, The Object Design Award, TISA National Award (2nd place), NSW Business Chambers TCF Award (finalist) and the iD International Emerging Designer Awards (finalist). Karen’s experiences in the industry extend from working as designer in knitwear, textiles, business, men’s accessories and production manager. She is also a sought after apparel and textiles freelance designer in the industry for other established fashion businesses. Soon Karen began her adventure setting up Yangster’s Paradise using her family background and connections in the manufacturing land of China.
