YOUNG ENGINEERS COMMITTEE (YEC - FAEO) Overview

The Young Engineers Committee (YEC) is one of the standing technical committees of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO), dedicated to empowering Africa’s next generation of engineering leaders. We drive continent-wide collaboration, innovation, and professional development for young engineers, fostering sustainable solutions to advance Africa’s infrastructure, technology, and socioeconomic growth. OUR VISION To empower and position young African engineers as global leaders in innovation, sustainable development, and engineering excellence. OUR MISSION To nurture, develop, and promote young, graduate, and student engineers by fostering leadership, technical skills, innovation, entrepreneurship, policy advocacy, and cross-border collaboration, driving the Africa we want under Agenda 2063.
