Yeelen Gallery is a contemporary art space dedicated to the promotion and expression of Street Culture.
Occupying a 10,000 square-foot converted industrial space in Miami's Little Haiti neighborhood, Yeelen Gallery is able to mount exhibitions of a dynamic and ambitious nature. The Gallery sustains four exhibition spaces and maintains a focus on figurative art, realism, and symbolism by employing various media including: painting, photography, and drawing.
Since its inception in 2008, the Gallery's position has been to foster relationships with its surrounding neighborhood by launching a program of exhibitions that expresses the varied identities of the people within its cosmopolitan city.
In this approach the Gallery has been able to promote artistic growth from the inside outward, pioneering exhibitions that enlighten the mind and expand our understanding of culture.
