Our founder, Ankit Agrawal, is an experienced investment analyst with research experience across asset classes and geographies. In his last role, Ankit was a core member of the absolute return investment team at Investcorp in New York that managed $1bn+ in discretionary client assets at the time.
Our name is inspired by Yellowstone National Park, one of the oldest and most visited national parks in US. Our nature-loving founder used this name in remembrance of his last trip in US before moving to India. Yellowstone National Park is known for its hot springs. To us, Yellowstone National Park embodies entrepreneurship with calm, beautiful, peaceful and embracing qualities on the surface, bolstered by enormous amount of fire, energy and passion at the core.
Our logo houses letter "Y" within a circle. Just like the letter "Y" is made up of three divergent lines converging to a single point, our research process entails diverging across different perspectives to converge to a pointed recommendation. "Y" as a shorthand for "Why?" also highlights our "Question Everything" spirit. The circle housing "Y" signifies that all our activities are bound by a robust risk management framework.
