Everyday that there is war, there are people who are suffering physically and mentally. From the brave Ukrainian soldiers defending freedom, to innocent women and children caught up in the violence, to all those in recently liberated areas that are in dire need of humanitarian support, and all those who area abroad who have to watch their homes be destroyed. Wherever you are, whoever you are, yoga has the ability to create community, peace and health. Together we can help provide life-saving treatments for all those affected by the war. According to UNICEF, the war in Ukraine has left nearly 1,000 children killed or injured. Let’s honor them with 1,000 opportunities for communities coming together for peace. The goal is to find 1,000 yoga teachers all around the world to each donate ONE yoga class to Yoga4Ukraine by December 31, 2022. If you are a yoga teacher, fill in the teacher form on our website with basic info about you (name, country, social accounts, and submit a picture to be featured on the Yoga4Ukraine website and be officially a part of Yoga4Ukraine! After registering as a teacher, fill in the form on our website with the basic info about the class you wish to donate to Yoga4Ukraine: location, time, yoga style, etc. We will list it on the Yoga4Ukraine website and our social media. All money will be donated to one of these two trusted and verified organizations for medical and humanitarian aid: United24 and Razom for Ukraine. Yoga4Ukraine will not handle ANY donations. All donations will be collected by the yoga teacher and donated directly by card, Paypal, bank transfer, etc. to the organizations above.
