The York Student Think Tank is an award winning society dedicated to addressing policy issues that really matter.
In collaboration with high profile policy organisations we engage with issues through research, consultations, speaker events and discussion groups. We offer our members an unrivalled opportunity to develop skills and to experience the world of policy-making from the inside. At the same time, we provide a non - partisan and welcoming platform for anybody who is completely new to politics. We also welcome anyone who would like to explore their ideas of policy for the first time , without the pressure to align themselves to a particular cause ( a requirement which may come with many other kinds of political societies. )
The York Student Think Tank is a group with two main aims: 1) To undertake research in affiliation with national policy organisations. 2) To enhance the skills of the society members through this research process.
