Yosemite labs is a US based start-up that does not believe in the traditional software engineering process where developers are allocated to existing projects and work on fixing bugs and often improving legacy codebases, like in most consulting companies. Instead, we focus on delivering apps from scratch, treating our customers as partners (we're even invested in some clients). This process makes us have few, but high-quality projects to work on. In the past two years, we've built:
- Custom dialer in Go to perform high volume, low latency calls (250k calls per day at peak)
- Digital food traceability platform. Logged over 12M kg of olives across 1300 farms in 3 countries
- Data Engineering pipelines for ML/AI company. Reduced their monthly AWS bill by 30%
