Young Farmers Development Organization (YoFDO)
The Young Farmers Development Organization (YoFDO) is a youth led of young farmers in Ghana and was established in December 2023 with the aim of empowering, training and contributing to young people’s participation in agriculture in Ghana.
YoFDO effort seeks to change the negative perception the youth have of participation in agriculture, (farmers) as uneducated, unskilled, physical labourers with extremely low economic return.
We believe modern agriculture is more than tilling the soil and animals. The sector today offers career opportunities in research, environment, financial management, engineering and other technical areas for the youth to explore
Our primary focus is to design training program to help young agripreneurs succeed in farming by enhancing their knowledge and skills in agriculture and entrepreneurship.
