Young Energy Europe (YEE) is all about putting theory directly into practice: young professionals in 10 CEE countries extend their knowledge on energy and resource efficiency through an intensive training to become "Energy Scouts". Based on these skills, Energy Scouts not only analyze and reveal saving potentials for energy and resources in their companies, but draft practical projects also. This way they achieve to bring tangible solutions to the table that can be implemented in the corresponding areas of their companies right away. Energy Scouts can help employers to save energy, resources and money while driving forward climate action. Young Energy Europe is supported within the framework of the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The project is carried out in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia in cooperation with the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry in these partner countries.
