Hi, I'm Jessica, founder of Your Career Centre. I'm a chartered engineer and MBA-qualified leader experienced in delivering corporate strategies and career development programs. As I delved into contemplating the next steps in my career, a realisation struck me like a bolt of lightning. What if I applied the same strategic principles and tools used in corporate development to my own professional path? Could I create a roadmap, a plan that would guide me towards my aspirations? That pivotal moment became the catalyst for change, propelling me to leverage my expertise in corporate strategy and career development to empower others. I realised that the techniques I employ to drive organisational success can be scaled and tailored to an individual's career pathway. This epiphany led me to create 'Your Career Centre' so that I could provide strategic development resources and support to professionals looking to accelerate their careers. With a vision of providing emerging professionals with the resources they need to thrive, I started creating simplistic infographics which reflected the process of successful strategies used in executive decision making - but in the context of creating my own career roadmap. This process ultimately led me to secure a role as a Corporate Strategy Manager at Thames Water in London. I am inspired to give back by using my expertise as a career coach to empower individuals to achieve their full potential.
