Your Sounding Board Overview
Your Sounding Board provides Counselling and Coaching services to help people live in a way that contributes to their physical, emotional and social well-being. The term sounding board is often used to refer to a person on whom one is able to try out an idea or opinion as a means of evaluating it. A sounding board does not create a new sound, it reflects back the sound with intent to increase its resonance or amplify the sound. In the same way, - we do not judge, offer personal opinions, advice or make suggestions (unless the client requests for it). Through active listening and undivided attention, we provide clients with the space to explore their thoughts and feelings, reframe thinking, find alternate viewpoints, and develop the knowledge that lies within themselves. Your Sounding Board : a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space where the focus is completely on YOU to help you draw on your strengths to move forward.
