YourArlington was founded in 2006 as an independent, hyperlocal news site that covers news, features and other events in Arlington, MA. Founded in 2006 by Bob Sprague, YourArlington has reported on thousands of meetings and news stories and posted lifestyle features and events coverage. The site has long enjoyed the support of volunteers who help create content. Two years ago, the site was transformed into a nonprofit organization that works to support its mission. (Donations to YourArlington.com are tax-deductible.) In 2024, the organization undertook the massive task of relaunching the site with a fresh, new design and a commitment to increase staff and paid reporting. This section will be updated soon to reflect some of the exciting changes.
