Youth For Understanding (YFU) is a non-profit educational organization which offers opportunities for young people around the world to spend a semester or year with a host family in another culture.
YFU Romania organizes long-term youth exchanges for Romanian pupils aged 15-18, who want to spend a school year abroad, live for one year with a thorough-fully selected host family and change their life by broadening their horizons and mature in an inter-cultural environment.
Romanian teenagers can spend one year in one of the offered countries: French Belgium, Canada, Chile, Denmark, Switzerland (German speaking cantons), Estonia, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and United States of America.
