The Youth for Challenges and Development Association (YCDA) is an NGO founded in 2016, with the mission of improving the socio-economic situation in Algeria through youth-focused initiatives mainly in education, skills development, employment, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and youth and women empowering.
Our organisation was founded by engineers, teachers, university professors, and civil society leaders who saw that their city and the whole state they live in is facing tremendous economical and social challenges including: low quality education, high rate of unemployment, the lack of youth related activities, and the lack of economical activities that create jobs and economic progress.
The YCDA has initiated and operated several initiatives/programs to change this situation step by step. Our current main program is focused on providing advanced digital skills for young people and recent graduates that help them find jobs, change career path, or create a sustainable business
