Youth + Families Forward leverages the collective action of philanthropies to transform child welfare in NYC. Through strategic grants to community-based, system, and advocacy partners, our mission is to leverage the collective action of philanthropies to support the well-being of New York’s children and families who are impacted by the foster system or at risk of being impacted by the foster system.
We achieve our mission by centering the perspectives of impacted communities, and embrace collaboration and continuous learning to ensure our efforts are responsive to the needs of the field. Members work in partnership and demonstrate a collaborative spirit, valuing compromise, mutual trust and respect, an interest in supporting one another, and new ideas.
