But we can’t neglect the fact that India ranked 77th in sustainability Index in 2020 and many more. The mission of Yuva Bhagidari Foundation is to work towards increase in representation of women and youth leaders in Local Goverenment Bodies, Legislative Bodies and The Parliament.
The Foundation with dedicated programs and campaigns towards these causes aims at ensuring Bhagidari (Participation and Partnership) of the youth in decision making process.
Our vision is to introduce young minds to engage and determine the prospects of innovation and sustainability in the discourse of democracy with the goal of good governance.
We aim to work on social & political aspirations of youth and women leaders. In India, the youth & women comprise of 28% & 48.04% of the total population, of which there is only 6% representation in the parliament for youth and women respectively.
