We are the part of the change, and change in the elements of the society, but WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING FOR THE SOCIETY - this thought provoked 6 friends to form the "Team- Yuva Spandan".
In June 2012, the foundation of the "Yuva Spandan" Family - An independent youth volunteer non-profit organization was started.
Gradually team grew up with the support of people from all the places like schools, colleges, classes, places of employment, etc. and is now a platform for 500+ volunteers responsible for changing the society and developing themselves. We do have our team in Shirur as well. We have conducted more than 50+ events combinedly in Pune and Shirur.
We work for various causes that include - Environment, Education, Health, Human Rights and Community Welfare.
Activities: Tree Plantation and Maintenance Projects in and around Pune, Educating Under Privileged Kids and Youth, Communication Skill Development of the differently abled are some of the major activities, Fundraising Activities to help other NGOs via Marathons.
Other events include Pune Art, Pune Heart - A platform for the artists, Blood Donation Camps, Indian Festivals with a social touch and running various camps that create an impact in the society and motivate them for the goodwill of others etc.
Alone we can do so little; "Together We Can" do so much; taking this concept in mind we move ahead with the youths of today's society.
