Yorkshire Volunteer Fire Department company information, Employees & Contact Information

The Yorkshire Volunteer Fire Department was established in 1948 and went into service in 1952. I.J. Breeden donated the land to the fire department, and the residents of Yorkshire built our first station on Centreville Rd. Our current station opened in 2005 on Patton Lane. We serve approximately 2,800 homes, 10,000 residents, and 150 businesses within our first due area of approximately six square miles. Our equipment consists of two engines, two ambulances, a heavy rescue, two utility vehicles, and three Chief's buggies. Many of our members are cross-trained as both an EMT and Firefighter.
