The Zachary family began their love of making pizzas in the Waterbury, CT area back in 1956 with the very first Zachary's Pizza House. Through the years various relatives have continued the tradition in NY, VT and CT and since 1991, in North Carolina. My father Christos learned the pizza business and recipes from his brother Alexander Zachary and his Uncle Comiannos Zachary. Beginning in the late 1960's my father opened his own restaurant and pizza places in various towns in Connecticut for over 25 years! We opened Zachary's Pizza in St. Paul's , NC on June 10, 1991 and have continued the family tradition using our now famous recipes ever since.
