Dr. S F Zamindar started a Knowledge sharing platform 'Eye for Quality' in 2016, with the mission to help smaller hospitals start their quality journey.
Eye for Quality was the First of its kind, providing a platform to teach, learn and share ideas and methodology of implementation of quality standards.
She believed that quality standards if implemented in spirit and letter will benefit the patients, staff and organisation and make health care in India, world class. The perception among doctors and hospitals was/is that Accreditation is for larger hospitals, and implementation is costly and painful. Eye for Quality aims to break this myth.
Eye For Quality conducts 2-day workshop to train doctors, hospital administrators and nurses on “Basics of implementation of QUALITY AND SAFETY standards” on weekends. It also simplifies important implementation aspects like, how to write SOP (Standard Operating Process), process mapping, documentation and training needs
The course is very well received and ‘Eye For Quality’ has trained over 220 doctors/hospital administrators so far from all over India.
• Zamindar Microsurgical Eye Centre has been declared as “Centre for Quality Promotion” by CAHO (Consortium of Accreditated Healthcare Organisations) on 11th June 2017.
