Ziest Therapeutics is a next-generation vaccine development company on a mission to protect global livestock with modern science. Based in Pakistan, we are pioneering the development of recombinant protein and virus-like particle (VLP) based vaccines, starting with a critical target: Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD).
FMD is one of the most economically devastating animal diseases in the world. In Pakistan alone, it causes billions of rupees in annual losses due to reduced milk yield, compromised animal fertility, and restricted access to export markets. Smallholder farmers—who form the backbone of our livestock industry—bear the brunt of this burden.
At Ziest, we’re developing DIVA-compliant (Differentiating Infected from Vaccinated Animals) vaccines that are safer, scalable, and locally manufactured. Our goal is to eliminate vaccine-preventable diseases in animals through sustainable innovation and scientific excellence.
